5in5 Challenge
As if all the usual joys of parenting aren’t plenty to be getting on with, these days it can seem we’re also expected to be teachers, personal trainers and (look out, kids) hairdressers too. That’s why we’re aiming to make at least one role – head chef – that bit easier, with our #5in5challenge to get your little ones eating healthier. And it is a challenge: can they eat their five-a-day every day for five days straight? To motivate the mini munchers we’ve created a chart and stickers that let give kids the chance to show everyone how well they’re doing and create some (literally) healthy rivalry with friends and siblings.
FiveDinners x Fruit Bowl
Of course, we couldn’t have done it without some expert help in the shape of former Masterchef star Theo Michaels. Londoner Theo grew up surrounded by the vibrant flavours of Greek Cypriot cooking, and backpacked around the world sampling new cuisines and picking up fresh ideas as he travelled. Now, as the author of five cookbooks and a regular on TV and radio, he knows just how to communicate his passion for great food cooked to perfection – which you’ll get a taste of in the five recipes he’s created for our #5in5challenge. Theo and his wife Anna are behind FiveDinners, a weekly meal planner that aims to take the stress out of cooking for the family, and which has inspired the new Fruitbowl x FiveDinners e-recipe book.
